Usain Bolt Eases Through to 100m Final

Following a false start and the disqualification of Britain’s Tyson Edgar, Usain Bolt has eased through to the final of the 100 metres which will take place later this evening at 20:35 (GMT). Bolt ran a time of 9.89 seconds in the first semi-final to beat his training partner Daniel Bailey into second. Darvis Patton from the USA and Marc Burns from Trinidad also qualified for the final in third and fourth place respectively.
