Usain Bolt kicked off his 2010 campaign in style on Saturday with an impressive 400m victory at the Camperdown Classic. Bolt ran 45.86 seconds to break the previous meet record.

Usain Bolt visited a school in the northern Greek port city of Thessaloniki yesterday in preparation for his upcoming 200m race in the World Athletics Final in the cities Kaftanzoglio stadium on Sunday night. Bolt was challenged to a sprint by a five year old school boy who sped off and left the World Champion in his wake.

Usain Bolt has run 19.57, the fourth fastest time in history, to win the 200m grand prix race in Brussels tonight. Bolt obliterated the field which included world silver medal winner Wallace Spearman, although he later admitted it had been a massive effort and the race had left him very tired.

“I didn’t expect that I would run so fast and in the last 25 metres I backed off”

Bolt will not have any major championships until 2011, when he will defend his world titles in Korea.

“Next year will not be so intensive and I hope to be even stronger the following year and go even faster.”

Bolt runs 9.81 to win Zurich Grand Prix 100m

Usain Bolt defended his Zurich 100m title, running 9.81 seconds ahead of his fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell and Darvis Patton of the USA.

Powell started strongly and it looked like an upset was on the cards, but Bolt eased in front after 80 metres to finish .07 seconds ahead of his Jamaican rival.

Usain Bolt to run 100m in Zurich tonight

Usain Bolt is scheduled to take part in the 100m at the Weltklasse meeting in Zurich tonight, Friday 28th August. The organisers of the Golden League event have managed to attracted the star of the World Championships yet again.

Bolt won the 100m in Zurich in 2008 in a time of 9.83 seconds, only a week after winning three Gold medals at the Beijing Olympics. Other notable athletes include Asafa Powell, Marc Burns and Michael Frater.

Bolt could also line up with his Jamaican teammates for the 4 x 100m Zurich Trophy, which will also feature the USA.

The 100m race takes place at 20:08 (GMT). Delayed coverage will be shown on British Eurosport 2 at 21:30.

Usain Bolt has won yet another Gold Medal along with his Jamaican teammates after they won the 4 x 100 relay at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin tonight.

Jamaica with Steve Mullings on the first leg, Michael Frater on the second leg, Usain Bolt ran the bend on the third leg and handed over Asafa Powell on leg four, ran a time of 37.31 seconds to beat Trinidad & Tobago into second and Great Britain & Northern Ireland into third.

Happy Birthday Usain Bolt – 23 Today

Usain Bolt celebrates his 23rd birthday today, only a day after winning his second Gold medal for the 200 metres at the World Athletics Championships. Unlike most 23 year olds, Usain can’t go mad and do too much celebrating, as he has to keep himself fit and healthy for the 4 x 100 relay which takes place tomorrow evening in Berlin.

Bolt received a surprise from the Berlin crowd during his 200m medal ceremony, when they sang “Happy Birthday” after he was presented with his Gold Medal.
