Usain Bolt has run an amazing 9.58 seconds to win the 100m final at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin. Bolt took another massive chunk off his World Record to beat Tyson Gay (9.71) and Asafa Powell (9.84) into second and third respectively.

Usain Bolt has been drawn in lane 4 for the final of the 100m which is due to start at 20:35 (GMT). Bolt will be able to keep an eye on his main contenders for the 100m title, with Tyson Gay and Powell in lane 5 and lane 6 respectively.

Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell ran well to qualify from the second semi-final to face Usain Bolt in tonight’s 100m Final. Gay ran 9.93 seconds while Powell was just .02 seconds behind running 9.95. The two others qualifying for the final are Richard Thompson from Trinidad and Britain’s Dwain Chambers.
