Usain Bolt has won yet another Gold Medal along with his Jamaican teammates after they won the 4 x 100 relay at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin tonight.

Jamaica with Steve Mullings on the first leg, Michael Frater on the second leg, Usain Bolt ran the bend on the third leg and handed over Asafa Powell on leg four, ran a time of 37.31 seconds to beat Trinidad & Tobago into second and Great Britain & Northern Ireland into third.

Usain Bolt has smashed yet another World Record, running 19.19 to take his second Gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin. Bolt beat Alonso Edward from Panama into second and Wallace Spearmon of the USA in third.

Usain Bolt has qualified with considerable ease for the 200m final which will take place tomorrow night, Thursday 19th August at 19:35 (GMT). Bolt won his semi-final in a time of 20.08 ahead of Alonso Edward (20.22) from Panama, Shawn Crawford (20.35) of the USA and David Alerte (20.45) from France.

Bolt Qualifies for 200m Semi Final in Berlin – Video

Usain Bolt has qualified for the 200m semi final, winning his first round heat in a time of 20.72 and his quarter final in 20.41. The semi final will take place on Wednesday 19th August at 18:25 (GMT) and will be shown live on BBC2 and British Eurosport.

Barring injury, Bolt should make it through to the final which will be run on Thursday 20th at 19:35 (GMT). Only two other men in the semi finals, Shawn Crawford (19.79 PB) and Wallace Spearman (19.65 PB) have run the 200m in under 20 seconds. Usain Bolts world record which he ran at the Beijing Olympics stands at 19.30 seconds.
